Insurance & Out-Of-Network Insurance
All our associate licensed counselors are in-network providers for Aetna and BCBS.
We can also provide a superbill for out-of-network clients and help with reimbursement. Please reach out with any questions, we've happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable. Depending on your plan, you may be eligible for out of network benefits that reimburse a portion of your counseling services. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Upon your request, we will provide you with a receipt at the end of each month which you can submit to your health insurance company directly for reimbursement.
We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have an out-of-network copay or coinsurance?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Do I need any type of pre-authorization prior to accessing out-of-network mental health benefits?
Good Faith Estimate
Pursuant to the federal “No Surprises Act of 2022”, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
We will include a “Good Faith Estimate” when I send you my intake forms prior to your first appointment. You have the right to request a revised “Good Faith Estimate” at any time during your treatment with me.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your estimate or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
